As a historic building currently on the National Register of Historic Places, the Frederic C. Adams Library is under restoration and rehabilitation to create compliance with current building codes, and to make it ready for its new intended future use as a Heritage Center, which will ensure the safety and heritage of the Town of Kingston’s historical documents and artifacts. The Frederic C. Adams in Kington was a recipient of the Massachusetts Historical Preservation Award 2013.
