Energy Management Services Success Story

As OPM for the City of Westfield, P3 is managing the $27 million Energy Management Service program that will provide energy managed mechanical upgrades to building systems such as high efficiency boilers, roof top  unit ventilators and energy recover controls, and electrical system upgrades.  The ten municipal building projects included in this program are:

  • Police Department: Boiler Replacement
  • Southampton Fire Department: Boiler Replacement
  • Western Ave Fire Department Garage: Boiler Replacement
  • Westfield Area Head Start: HVAC Upgrades
  • Police Department: Roof Replacement
  • Fire Headquarters: Roof Replacement
  • Athenaeum Library: Chiller Replacement
  • Franklin School: Roof Replacement
  • Westfield High School: Lighting Upgrades
  • Westfield City Hall: A/C Installation
  • North Middle School: Boiler Replacement
Running projects concurrently to maximize resources and minimizing the length of disruption – particularly to the schools – P3 managed the expedited program and ensured completion of Phase 1 by November 2012.
Phase II of the Energy Management Service Project consists of the complete renovation and upgrades of the Westfield City Hall and successfully reached substantial completion December 9, 2013.
